Celebrity Summit 7 Night Bayonne/Cape Liberty to Bermuda. May 28th 2017.

Embarkation

I was dropped off about 10:10 am. No traffic at the pier and luggage was checked and I was thru security in minutes. I guess a ship with only 2,158 passengers is a breeze compared to 4,500 on Anthem of the Seas…which incidentally also went just fine in December arriving at the same time. Checked in at the desks, took a seat and boarding began at 11 am. Once up the gang way and a complimentary Mimosa in hand I was off to explore! Had a bite at the buffet after looking everything over.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 11

Cabin 11

Cabin 2063 was cozy and nicely appointed; however I have never had a cabin where I found three things were broken when I walked in. The sink drain mechanism was sitting on the bathroom counter, the safe would not close or open [it needed a new battery turns out] and a drawer was broken. I thought I’d ignore them, but…first thing the first morning I went down to Guest Services and said “If two out of three are fixed I’ll be happy”. The guest services agent said “No, Three out of Three!” He proceeded to make three phone calls and handed me his card and asked me to let me know of the progress. By the end of the day all three were fixed and there was a phone message to follow up. Nice Service!
