This was my first cruise (I'm 47) and wanted to try a 3-day cruise first to make sure that I enjoyed it before booking a longer cruise. I really loved it. The embarkation process at Port Canaveral was very smooth. We checked in around 10 AM and were able to board the ship at 11:00. Our rooms were ready promptly at 1:00 pm.

We were told that the ship was full for our cruise, and I was worried that it would feel crowded, but honestly, it never did. We always found a quiet place to sit when we wanted to. We especially loved the very top deck. Plenty of lounge chairs to go around.

We ate dinner in the main dining room the first night. The food was good but not great. Same with the service. I felt like our waiters "wanted" to be very present, but they seemed a bit stretched thin. The wait between courses and water refills was longer than we liked. We found that we enjoyed the Windjammer Café buffet much more. The food was different every day/night and the selection was really good. The service was excellent as well.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

We had an inside cabin on deck 5. It was tiny, but actually much more comfortable than I had envisioned. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable with nice linens. It reminded me very much of staying in a small RV or travel trailer, especially the bathroom. Very functional, and it was true that we weren't in the room other than to sleep or dress. Our room attendant kept the cabin spotless at least twice daily.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The embarkation process at Port Canaveral was very smooth. We checked in around 10 AM and were able to board the ship at 11:00. Very organized and excellent customer service at the cruise terminal.

Nassau

We had read that the excursions in Nassau weren't worth the money, especially with 6 ships in port at the same time, so we chose to walk through town and relax on Junkanoo beach. We opted to go further down the beach, away from the crowds. We rented lounge chairs for $10 each and relaxed, swam, had a fruity cocktail and people watched. It was a nice day and we went back to the boat by dinner time.
