Sail Date: May 2017
Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

We decided to do our first European cruise seeing the "Baltic Capitals" While the tours themselves were from Excellent to OK, it was the NCL Getaway where the biggest disappointment was. The Ship itself is very nice and BIG and my opinion it is too big. There was never enough seating for breakfast (no one eats outside when it is 55 F). The staff in the buffet area was not too quick on clearing away tables so people could sit down at a clean table.

If you purchase the "Ultimate Beverage Package" be prepared to be disappointed. Once you had your card to the serving staff you might be lucky to get a second drink at dinner. One exception to this is the Ocean Blue. This is easily the best restaurant on the ship. The wait staff is outstanding and the food is excellent. The buffet is very nice, but as mentioned earlier it will take you some time to find a table.

The cabins are nice and well cared for (better than some of the 5 star resort I have stayed at) the stewards are great!

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Very comfortable with great service from Mark.

TV channels are pretty poor for anyone who just wants to chill out in their room after a long day of sightseeing.

Port Reviews

Gothenburg

Not one of my favorites as the tour seem to be a last minute addition. No shopping and limited sites.

Copenhagen

We arrived a couple of days early and stayed three days after the cruise
