Traveled with children

We chose to take this cruise for 7 members of our family because of its close proximity to our home. This allowed us to drive rather than fly. We found the ship to be perfect for family with children ages 3 (potty trained)-high school. They also offer babysitting for babies. The swim area is like a theme park with something for all ages, complete with a solt ice cream machine, pool bars, a private solarium for adults, buggy/wakeboard area with trainers, a movie screen, several hot tubs, music at all times, even a dance leader.

Our families took advantage of the teenage handout and activities, also the children's adventure area for ages 8-11 where children had to be checked in and out..

Security on the ship was fantastic: Children below 12 years of age were required to wear a wrist band that identified their location on the ship. Curfew was imposed for those younger than 17; Security quickly located our grandson, age 16, who was with friends during early morning hours one day.

Family Interior Stateroom

Cabin FI

We had a king bed that could have been separated if we desired. The storage area was barely adequate, but we were able to get our luggage under the bed. There was a couch and a nightstand with a drawer on each side with very little room to pass to the head of the bed. The stateroom service was excellent.
