My 60th present too myself. A week on QM2. So excited. Room lovely and cabin crew and waitress in dining room lovely. Loved the fact that they had gentlemen dancers for the ladies to dance with in the Queens ballroom. However I felt so let down. It was mediocre. The food was O.K but not special,I've eaten better on P&O cruise ships. The entertainment was dismal. Pub quiz, talks about boring topics, quartets or harpist. No fun. No shows in the evening. No dancers, singers etc. Just 2 nights with Mark Preston, a guy from the 60's Lettermans, never heard of him but he was a good singer for an hour. This is not what I expected from CUNARD. Drink prices are supposed to be on par with bar prices. £9.00 for a g&t, £35.00 for a bottle of cheapest wine. EXPENSIVE from start to finish.I was so disappointed with my time on QM2.
