Disclaimer: It is a longer review, but I think useful for anyone considering boarding in Civitavecchia. I will start by saying that we are experienced cruisers (10+ with various companies) so we can speak confidently about rights and wrongs regarding what we observed. It is still OUR experience and we are confident that the people that boarded in Barcelona did not feel this way (more on that later).
Let me start with the positives:
The Epic is a beautiful, big boat full of things to do, places to eat and tons of activities

Cabin was fantastic except it was forward and so it was solid metal instead of glass in the balcony area.
