We chose this cruise because we've heard so many wonderful things about Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. We departed from Galveston, Texas which is only about 30 minutes from our home. Departure went as well as can be expected considering the weather was terrible. The staff boarding the boat was very friendly even though i'm sure they were stressed due to the weather and flooding in the area. The ship and our room was very clean. Our room Steward was amazing and so was the dining staff. There were so many fun entertainment and activity functions to attend. We especially liked the Ice skating show but we were pleased with all of it. The Shore excursions were amazing. I highly recommend the Margaritaville beach time and Catamaran snorkel in Jamaica. Fun for the whole family and the staff was wonderful with out 4 year old son. Our 14 year old daughter had a blast and met a few new friends. Great experience!
