I've cruised 30 times on RCCL and have been on most of their ships, large and small. I love (and prefer) the large ships but in my opinion the service is better on the small ships. The staff of the Majesty is very good and there is a positive vibe on the whole ship. Unfortunately, the ship itself has outlived its best years. The staff keeps it as clean as they can but there are issues they can't fix while at sea. The water backed up and flooded the bathroom floor (more than an inch of water) every time I showered. Apparently it has been happening a long time because the metal rails are almost rusted through. The rust stains even run down the outside of the bathroom floor rails.

The food in the main dining room was excellent. The wait staff was outstanding. My only complaint is RCCL's new policy of charging for room service. Although I rarely used room service this was a special perk of Royal Caribbean that the other cruise lines didn't have. now it's gone.

Many problems. Plumbing is a major issue. These tiny staterooms on the small ships are outdated. I took pictures of the bathroom problems but I won't post them because they are shocking and it would present the notion that the entire cruise was a disaster. It was not. The only bad thing about this cruise was the state of repair of the old ship, especially the bathroom.
