Overall, the cruise was fine.
First, the ports were places I always wanted to go and see. The weather for the most part was pretty good and the cities which we visited were extremely clean and the people were incredibly kind and welcoming.
One thing I would say is you can do every one of the British Isles ports ON YOUR OWN. Princess will not tell you much, if anything if you are not buying one of their excursions. Every port has public transportation, train, bus, shuttle that is either free or extremely inexpensive. I would have like if Princess would tell you these things so you can have a plan ahead of time. Also, we encountered 2 local bank holidays at 2 separate ports. EVERYTHING was closed these days and Princess did not tell us anything. Rather disappointing.
Bunk beds in the room which got in the way and took up a lot of space. Banged out head constantly on them. Also, a very small, very basic room. Not updated at all.
EMpty mini fridge which was nice. Drawers that didn't really work any more. Shower very very small. But good water pressure and temeprature.
Took 4 Euro roundtrip bus in to Glasgow!!! DO NOT take the expensive Princess bus!
Local bus extremely easy and very frequent.
Take a local bus or train in to town and enjoy! What a great city!
Book your own like a hop on/off bus. It takes you all the way to Loch Ness!!!
Bank holiday and nothing open. DO walk in to town and DO NOT take the expensive Princes sshuttle. The walk is 20 minutes max.
