The ship is very nice but the service felt like a low budget cruise.

We always enjoy a cruise to Alaska. This was no exception and the ship is well kept and comfortable. The Captain kept us right on schedule and for an early in the year cruise the weather was pretty good. Glacier Bay was beautiful.

Overall the service was short of the usual Princess excellence. If you needed something you had to go find someone to help you. In one case my wife was told by a buffet area waiter that he did not work in her area and she should ask someone else.

The diversity of the buffet food was low and similar every day with a few exceptions. There were no special events or speciality food events. I always had to find someone to order eggs in the morning if I did not want scrambled of over medium.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B1

Clean and good service - Nothing special - No bed turn down in the evening just a candy on the bed,, not on the pillow.

Port Reviews

Seattle

This is a good port with very good parking and shuttle service right to embarkation.

Juneau

This the only port with no shuttle to town and it was raining so we did not visit more than the gift shop at the port. I have trouble walking so could not make the walk.

Glacier Bay

A perfect day and plenty of time to get pictures from many angles.
