Silversea's new flag ship- Silver Muse failed sadly to live up to their hype or our reasonable expectations. We are long standing travellers with Silversea and have recommended them to many friends over the years. This will not be the case in future, the ship is excellent in many respects , crew etc most welcoming, polite and friendly.

The food is anything but six star, a number of meals being inedible in Atlantide, Indochine and Terrazza restaurants. Tough chicken, tepid dishes, shortage of meat in lasagne and lack of tomato in tomato and mozzarella dishes being a few examples!

The main bone of contention was the reservation system for the various dining rooms, the confused dress code and the absence of a main dining room as a freely available venue quickly became the main topic of conversation amongst passengers. Staff appeared fully aware of the situation and sadly tempers on both sides became a little frayed.
