This was our first time sailing Holland America. We found the crew on the Amsterdam willingness to meet and exceed our expectations was a true differentiator. They were first rate in every way and were a leg up compared to the other lines we've cruised (Princess, Norwegian and Carnival).

Cabin Review
Large Ocean-View Stateroom
Our midship ocean view cabin on deck three provided ample room. We enjoyed the small sofa and found the bathroom area larger than other cruise lines. The bathtub and shower area are not snug in any way.
We were worried about being on the lower promenade deck with passengers walking outside or being able to peer in. The glass is coated with a silvery reflecting material and the thickness gave us privacy we sought.
