We arrived in Seattle two days before the start date and had a good time there. We parked our car near the cruise terminal and were shuttled into the terminal . Then it all started going wrong the queues were enormous it took over 2 hours from arrival to getting on the ship. We were told that our cabins would not be ready as we boarded the ship and announcements would be made, none were forthcoming, so after another hour we enquired and were told our cabin had been ready for some time. No bags arrived so after another hour we went on a search and found them abandoned along the corridor.

The cabin on the 7th deck 7642 was very good and very comfortable with service from the stewards excellent throughout the cruise. We found the ship seemed to be more suited to warm weather cruises 1500 sunbeds on deck, when was only just above freezing, therefore everyone was crowed below decks. the most unemployed member of crew was the pool attendant and towel attendant. The shows on board especially the ice show were excellent. Also some of the activities and lectures were very good. All these seem to lead by the superb Cruise director Graham I am probably biased as he was a fellow Brit The only shore excursion we did, was expensive, but very good value for money it was the 7 hour trip by train and coach into the Yukon.

The dining at whatever venue you chose was all very good but the rip off prices for drink turned me T total.
