We chose this cruise as we read so many great reviews about Royal Caribbean and The Anthem of the Seas.. We wanted to return to Bermuda for our 40th anniversary and decided to try a cruise over flying. Leaving from Cape Liberty in Bayonne was a no brainer as we're only 30 minutes from there. Having been from Hudson County, there was no reason to explore the Port area-there's nothing much to see unless you head into NYC. The embarkation went so smoothly and we were on the ship within half an hour. The Ship was beautiful! Our cabin was larger than we expected and so was the balcony. The bed, pillows and linens made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The food in the main dining rooms was excellent. The Windjammer buffet offered so many selections, although it's hard to maintain the temperature of hot foods. The shows in the clubs and main attractions were top quality and lots of fun. I can't say enough about the service we received. The cabin steward, wait staff, bartenders and the crew members worked tirelessly to meet our every need. We thoroughly enjoyed Bermuda and spent the day at Horseshoe Bay (took an $8 pp taxi rather than the shore excursion) and after lunch on board ship, we explored King's Wharf. The next day we took the fast ferry to Hamilton for great duty free shopping. Imagine how wonderful it was to see the yachts of The America's Cup going out for their qualifying rounds as we waited to return to the dock! We pulled into Cape Liberty right on schedule and disembarkation took just 30 minutes from ship to shore. We had such a positive experience and look forward to our next cruise with Royal Caribbean!
