We chose this cruise because our travel agent said it was one of the best. So we thought we were really going to enjoy this cruise if it is going to be better than Norwegian, Princess and Royal Caribbean! Well very disappointed from Day 1... And just so you know we really are not complainers... We have never had a complaint about any other cruise line - and we have been on about 8 cruises... We waited for 5 hours to get on the ship... We were Concierge Level which really meant nothing. I grant you it was not the cruise lines fault (I don't think) but come on 5 hours to get on the ship... that is ridiculous. They said we were to go to a special dining area (for lunch) since we were Concierge level... We finally got there and the lady said sorry we are closed now - that we had to eat upstairs. Went upstairs and it was terrible... Smelt like a cafeteria. At 9:15 I ask our room Stewart for an extension cord because there were no plugs by the bed (for my husband's sleep machine). He said he stopped working at 9:00... What??? I told him we needed a cord and he said call down to front desk. Wow!! I think there was another way to say that... He was great after that even though he did argue with me about how to open the door when my husband or I could open it....

Tried to sleep that night and my bed and vibrated all night... We didn’t put quarters in it either...LOL We called the front desk every day and they said they would check in to it. Finally about the 3rd day they sent someone up and he said wow you bed really does shake and the whole room vibrates... I told him I was not able to hardly sleep because it was so bad. He said he would see what he could do. They called later and said there were no more rooms available... and they could offer us $200 credit on our next cruise. My husband kept trying to talk to them about it but still nothing else they could do. They then offered us $300 for next cruise... Really??? $300 each after not sleeping for 9 nights!!! Wow that is pretty bad... What kind of customer service is that???

We were very disappointed that there were not laundry facilities or ironing... I thought most cruises had irons at least... I asked the front desk to bring me an iron that I needed an iron for my blouse for going out to lunch and blouse for dinner they said they didn’t have one and that I would have to send it to their cleaners on board... So I said ok great I need it by lunch and they said sorry I wouldn't get it back till tomorrow night. I told her I needed it now and she said there is nothing she could do. I thought that was totally ridiculous. All the other ships have always had irons and ironing boards in the laundry room.
