My daughter and I travelled on the Carnival Spirit on 21 March for 8 nights, visiting Isle of Pines, Noumea and Mare. The check-in process at Circular Quay was very smooth and well organised, with friendly staff welcoming us. We were very happy with our Cabin on Level 7, our cabin steward (Widodo) introduced himself on the first day and addressed us by name every time we saw him. Our cabin was kept very clean and the towel animals were a nice touch.

We had such a lovely time on the cruise, the meals were excellent, the evening entertainment (particularly the Piano Man and the Rock Epic show) was first class and we always enjoyed ending each evening in the Piano Bar where Kevin entertained everyone. The entertainment provided by the waiting staff in the dining room each night was such fun and we were really impressed with the young waitress who had such a powerful voice when singing 'Simply the Best'.

When disembarking at the three ports, the process was very smooth and efficient. Our favourite port stop was the Isle of Pines where we went snorkelling, swimming and relaxed all day.

Cabin Review

Cabin Stateroom 7288

The cabin was very comfortable but the design would have been better if the sofa had been placed nearer glass doors leading to the balcony. The bathroom was small but adequate and we took our own soap, shampoo/conditioner instead of using the ones provided by the ship.
