I just returned from a week long trip on the NCL Star on the route leaving venice and visiting montenegro, greece (3 pots), and croatia. For the most part, I was very disappointed with the cruise. We were 2 rooms with 3 adults and three children 11, 9, 5)

Let's start with the positives. The rooms are fair for the price range. The public spaces are well kept and clean. The dining options are ok and varied. The shows are decent. In addition, vincent, the cruise director does a good job playing the part that ncl wrote for him, although he is clearly made up, it doesnt make it any less fun.

Now the bad.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

The cabin was a decent size for this price range and the bathrooms and showers were reasonable.

Port Reviews

Venice

Venice is a great city but crowded

Kotor

Not much to do here, but the climb up to the castle is fun

Corfu

A bit boring. The fortress at the edge of town is ok

Santorini

awful place filled with tack stores and crowded lanes

Mykonos

Nice port. Not to much to do, but a pleasant enough town

Dubrovnik

Ok town, i fell like it is a bit overrated these days because of got. the cruise port is so far away from the old city.
