We just had a wonderful week on the Summit that went to Bermuda. Third time to Bermuda and always want to go back. The water and the beaches are beautiful and safe. We celebrated our 35 th anniversary with our family. We had 4 cabins (sweet sixteen) cabins with the extended balcony, The balconies were the biggest we ever had. It was big enough to have our marriage vows renewal on the balcony with all eight of us on it. Nice perk but the only problem the floors and chairs got salty when then washed upper cabins. Just wipe the chairs off and enjoy the extra room. The staff on the ship are all welcoming, friendly and hard working. The food in the main dining room was always well prepared and tasty. We ate in Quisine one evening and all eight of us with ages ranging from 22-60 found the experience and food worth the extra cost. The entainment has improved a lot since our last Celebrity Cruise. Bands, guitarist, violinist and DJ were great. We didn't attend any shows other than the comedian who was good. All of us loved the last night silent dance club by the martini bar. What a fun way to end a cruise.
We loved the size of the Summit . You can always get a chair somewhere in the sun or shade. The ship has been updated in common areas and looks great. The cabins are showing some wear but so what if it is clean. We updated our alcohol package but not sure I would do that again since I felt the wine in the classic package was fine.
Overall we all had a great time and would recommend Celebrity Cruises to multiage families.
