We just got back from the Oasis of the Sea cruise and had a great time. The cabin was small but that was to be expected. Our room attendant was great and had the room ready when we arrived. I have read the review about the food and I can tell you that the food was not that bad at all. The food was very bland with no seasoning. When we checked into this, RCL said that they have to be careful with all of the food allergies. The ship is very big and you can get lost on the first couple of days. There are maps by every elevator to show you where to go. Bathrooms are unique to find, you have to look at the ceiling and there is an indicator where the bathrooms are located. With 6,842 on board, I never felt crowded with the exception of the elevators. This is a design fault all elevators are located in the front or back of the ship. There is none in the middle, so everyone is trying to get on the elevator. One word of advice, try not to use the elevator during dinner and shows. This is the time that the elevator will be in use by everyone and they will use it. I do have a couple of items that you need to pay attention to.

On the second day, get on the TV and go to Account and look at you account records. If you see gratuities on there, RCL will start doing prepaid gratuities. Ok let me explain how this works, RCL on the second day will start charging you gratuities for eight days. So do the math, let just say it is 12.00 per day per person. You have 2 or more in your cabin so you add all of them up. So let’s use two per cabin.

So here how it goes
