WeI would have rated the entire cruise as excellent except for the onboard entertainment, especially the production shows. The cast was talented enough, but their shows were not very good save for the acrobats. I don't think they considered their older audience when they put the shows together. I was not surprised that the shows were very poorly attended. In fact, we have been on many Celebrity cruises and have never witnessed such sparse audiences.
We ate most of our meals in the Luminae restaurant. The food and service was outstanding. The host, waiters, and sommelier provided a wonderful dining experience every day. We had Aqua Class suites our last seven Celebrity cruises and ate in the Blu restaurant which was also outstanding but the Luminae provides service a little less rushed and is also not as crowded.
Michael's Club was the very best experience for us on this trip. The concierge went out of her way to give us first class service. The bartender mixed great drinks and was very attentive every time we entered the room. And our disembarkation with our concierge taking us off the ship was the best and easiest we ever had.
Great room at the Aft Port corner of the ship. We enjoyed watching the ship leave ports from our balcony. The bathroom was as large as many European hotel bathrooms. It is a very quiet room away from most of the ship's hustle and bustle. The butler service was excellent. Because it is in the corner, there is also a side window which gives the room a feeling on spaciousness. This was the best room we have ever had on any of our cruises.
