Budapest to Amsterdam

Review for Europe River Cruise on Scenic Opal

My party and I had 2 days in Budapest before we boarded the ship and added 2 days in Amsterdam at the end of our cruise on the advice of friends who had taken the same cruise. Great suggestion! Embarking and disembarking were both well organized and quick!

The Opal is an amazing ship, spotless and well planned out.

Dining room, food and staff were exceptional. Chef Norm is a master with food. Our choices each night were hard to choose between. If you tire of the buffet you can choose off the menu anytime. It is not always a buffet if you choose not to. The service from everyone is above and beyond.

Cabin Review

Cabin Jr Suite with balcony

Our cabin was on the 2nd floor, approximately mid ship. It was spacious and the balcony was an added bonus to relax when you needed a time out (haha) The bathroom is spacious enough for 2 people. I was able to view a room on the 1st floor and was glad we had opted to pay a bit more for the balcony. The cleaning staff had our room spotless each day and more than willing for anything we needed.
