If you want to go back in time to the days of relaxation and finding yourself this is the ship. Now the staff never called me by name. BUT, they knew who we were. Always greeting us with smiles. The staff was super friendly and always there to address our needs. Cabins were a nice size. We had a balcony and it was EXCELLENT. Inside rooms were about the same size as the balcony. Food was MUCH better than some of the reviews. For 17 days, we never got bored with the menu. The pool was never crowed and chairs were always available. Now, we were with people medium age probably 65. Only 5 kids on the boat so behavior was A+. If you were wanting to have expansive shows and up to date play areas this is not the ship for you.

However, the shore Excursion was the one WORST in my life on any cruise. We paid to snorkel at a ship wreck. We had the ship staff call to confirm that the tour was still on and at which point we were told yes they were still going to the ship wreck. Then we asked at the port office for the excursion to the wreck was on and was told yes. Then 5 miles from the port and 30 yards from the local swimming beach the skipper told us that he was not going to the wreck due to he only had 3 crew members and he felt like the weather was bad, and then asked if we had a problem with that. Of course, at our age and that far from anywhere we were all speechless. When we complained to the Pacific Princess excursion staff we were told to make a review but nothing would be done and that we would not be getting any money back. At this point that is correct no money and no contact. Later back on the ship we found out that another tour went to the ship wreck and had no problems.

The ports of call some were nice and would like more time there. OTHERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GETTING OFF THE SHIP.

Nice plenty of room for two. The TV listings for what was on the channels could be a LOT better. Bed and Pillows get an A+. I thought we had plenty of room for clothes. Nice small refrigerator to store meds and items needing to keep cool.
