We had a great experience, however getting on board in San Juan took almost 2 hours; there was only one line to drop luggage and once you were done there you had to go to another line to check in. Very inefficient. The ship was fine, lots of activities to do. We did purchase a beverage package, however there were times we were told we still had to pay extra for a glass of wine, root beer float at Johnny Rockets, etc. That was ridiculous! Staff were superb, 5 stars all the way!
The ports of call were great. St. Martin was our favorite port. We did the ATV excursion booked thru RCCL. Worth every penny. In Bonaire we took a $2.50 pp cab ride to a beach to snorkel (we brought our own gear) and it was great. We saw people from our ship that paid $65 pp for the tour (of course they did not bring their own gear) so we definitely found the bargain! Curacao we found a tour once off the ship, $25 pp for a 2.5 hr tour, worth it. The driver gave us a heads up on a beach, again $2.50 pp for taxi and $5.00 to rent a chair (Pirates Bay) and there was a bar, restrooms, shower and great snorkeling. Aruba we did the Kukoo Kanuko bus with dinner and 3 pubs to crawl- worth it, lots of fun-booked thru RCCL-because we wanted to make sure we were back to the ship on time. The bus was full with people ranging in age of low 20s to 70s- so much fun! We were amazed in St. Martin by the number of people that were late to the ship-running down the pier to get on-surprised the ship waited for them. Overall a great cruise.
Plenty of room.
Went around island, to Curacao factory, caves, beaches, etc. $25.00 pp
Kukoo Kunukoo- worth the $$
