Our cruise was a gift from our daughter for our 50th wedding anniversary, and because the Greek culture had always been fascinating to me she chose the trip to Italy and the Greek Isles. Our package included a suite with all of the amenities, and we were fortunate to have Dominic as our butler; he was so attentive that we felt like royalty. Jayson was our cabin attendant, and he kept our cabin picture perfect. The Reflection was a beautiful ship, and the entire staff was friendly and eager to please.
Everyone always talks about the food on cruises, but I do think that the food on the Reflection was much even better than expected. The buffet was good, but the Opus Dining Room was on a totally different leve, and Luminae which was only for suite guests was on parr with that of any fine restaurant. The service was impeccable.
Our suite was so nicely appointed with excellent furnishings and so much storage that we were able to have a place for everything. The roomy bathroom included a full-sized tub and shower, with lots of drawers, and the materials used in construction were well chosen.
We walked through the port city, shopped, and visited the gardens above the fortifications. A beautiful city.
So much fun to walk through the city. Visited the iconic windmills.
Our favorite port. The city was beautiful . Hearing an oboe player on one of the small side streets playing softly was a magical experience.
We were in Rome for two days, stayed at Relais Madalena near the Pantheon and enjoyed strolling with no plan.
