This was a wonderful vacation for us, one of the best, and it's difficult to separate the boat from the ports we visited. This was our first time to this part of the world and now we can scratch Pompeii, the Parthenon, and the Greek isles off our bucket list.

As to the boat, there was much to like and very little to take issue with. As big as it is, we rarely felt the presence of so many people. There were times when the elevators were impossible but that's about it. We talked to several people that, like us, watched empty cars fly right past them. The ship really needs to reprogram them.

The food was good in the main dining room, in the cafeteria there were a few exceptions. The clam chowder had no clams, the bean soup no beans. Either the soup was pisspoor or the guy serving it up didn't know all the substance was at the bottom. And every pot of scrambled eggs contained soggy, undercooked eggs. We were told they put cream in them. You would think with several egg stations around they'd at least cook one properly. We ended up getting our eggs at the omelet station where they made them to order.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Not much to say about the cabin. The size was reasonable, decent size shower, beds comfortable enough. I was able to get a firmer pillow and slept well. About the only disappointment was walking in and seeing Anderson Cooper's face staring at me from the Celebrity magazine. Ugh. That was quickly turned over and never seen again. Why on earth would anyone want to look at a CNN reporter while on vacation?
