Selected this cruise (combined 2 cruises, Athens to Monte Carlo, then on to Lisbon) for the itinerary and was thrilled with the ports. And selected because this is small ship. We got into many ports that larger ships cannot access. We loved these small ports (Taormina, portoveneer, etc). And,many have complained that the Silver Cloud is shabby and old. We knew that the ship was old but it was still in fine shape. If our top concern was our ship surroundings, we would have just checked into the Four Seasons for a night.

The food was very good and the service was exceptional. Naia, our Butler, was delightful and seemed to anticipate our needs. We met lots of new friends and everyone we spoke with loved this cruise. We loved our 20 days on the Silver Cloud and would love to do this all over again in the near future.
