As recommended by a CAA rep this cruise was very professionally conducted with a lovely ambiance in the cabins, dining rooms, lounges and upper deck. The ship was extremely well maintained and showed fine attention to detail. The environment was spotless! The staff was exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful at all times. They presented as personable and efficient, while showing great humour and care of all guests. The cabins were well appointed and included quality amenities. The quality, diversity and presentation of all meals was very impressive and met all dietary needs and appetites. Having foods coinciding with the countries through which we were sailing was a nice touch. The Chef's Table dining experience was a treat. There was a pleasant range of entertainment provided each evening. The options for shore excursions met all the interests and levels of activities for the guests. Having local, informed tour guides was a smart approach. The organization for participating in the excursions and ensuring that all guests returned by checking in using their electronic cards was a great safety measure. The Cruise Manager was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring that all passengers were enjoying all elements of the cruise. The special touches of gifts and daily newsletters left in the cabins was very thoughtful.

As this Danube cruise has been a long term dream and a definite "must" on my bucket list, I and my 4 fellow travelers found it an excellent experience and highly recommend it Kudos to Martina, Vesi, Christian, Carmen and Gregory for making our vacation memorable.

Cabin Review

Stateroom with French balcony

Cabin C

The cabin was nicely appointed and had an elegant air. There was good storage and closet space. Ample charging stations were provided. The added touches of items like umbrellas, robes, slippers, vases, wine, chocolates, etc made the ambiance very welcoming. Beds were comfortable. There was a nice range of lighting options. The large screen TV was appreciated. The bathroom was efficiently designed and included quality amnesties. The shower stall options were appreciated. A suggestion for non-slip strips on the shower floor are recommended for safety as the marble floors are slippery.

Port Reviews

Nuremberg

Very pretty with a nice tour of the castle area and the historic background. The city square is delightful with lots of shops and restaurants to experience German foods.
