We have been on 22 cruises over the past 25 years, 7 of them on Celebrity, and have found their quality to price ratio to be among the best. However, we have noticed a noticeable slippage in value when you consider that more and more of their new venues offered are at extra cost and increasing. The constant "hawking" of these venues by staff wherever you go has become a real irritation. Our cabin was a Sky Suite, which was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Our butler was very helpful and took good care of us and our requests. Some of the bar service was slow, but mostly OK. Service and food in Luminae was exceptional. While there was a good choice in wines, unfortunately mostly overpriced, vintages were never indicated, and we had to have a bit of back-and-forth with the sommelier to find out what to order. The food quality and variety in the main buffet area was very good. We almost always found something interesting and well prepared. Our only disappointment was the Danish pastries and croissants, which tended to be tough and gummy, no matter when we tried them. Other pasties and desserts were excellent. Save your money and avoid the $40 "premium" wine tastings. Not only were the wines offered quite mundane, the two different Sommeliers were very difficult to understand with their heavy accents and mispronunciations of many of the wines. Neither of them offered very useful information to the consumer, and included a lot of unnecessary technical terms. One Sommelier was even quite wrong with some of her information. Sorry, but I have been a wine professional for over 30 years, have taught a number of wine courses over the years, and get annoyed by these avoidable shortcomings. Ditto for the Enomatic machines. Almost half of the slots did not work, several of the wines were oxidized, and the sommelier on duty did not seem to care when I pointed out the problem. The entertainment was a mixed bag of some good, some OK and some not so good. My wife enjoyed the Spa and service quite a lot. The background music played in public areas was quite annoying. Most passengers were over 50 and the selections seemed to be geared more for a much younger set. The same problem was on the information channels on the in-room TV.

OK but with irritations
