Sail Date: May 2017

All inclusive, significant added extras, very good food, excellent specialty dining, no tipping, courteous staff, good value for money.

We booked an end suite which turned out to be very noisy, with significant shaking. A lesson to never book an end room was learned.

The cruise itself was excellent, the crew were super, the food varied at each sitting so boredom never set in. The wait staff were attentive and remembered what you liked or did not like. The food was very good.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony Suite

The suite was well appointed, clean and comfortable with the right amount of storage space. The balcony using the lowering window was a major plus, unless we were in port when diesel fumes came through the window so it had to be keep closed. Being an aft suite it proved to be very noisy, there was a constant hum from an electrical motor, while entering or leaving a lock there was a lot of engine noise along with shaking the floor, the walls, the bed along with the ventilation screens and the doors. Since most of the locks were traversed at night we were awaken several times with the noise and the shaking from the engines starting up and maneuvering. A really excellent cruise otherwise but a lesson learned never book an end room!
