Sail Date: Apr 2017

We bought this cruise 15 mos ago while on another Princess Cruise. We were sold the Maiden Voyage on the new Princess Majestic. We were sold a 21 day Mediterranean Odyssey.

Unfortunately, we were never informed that Princess moved up the sailing date and we were NOT on the maiden voyage, or that we were NOT on a 21 day cruise, but 3, 7-day cruises. And, believe me, there is a big difference.

Additionally, there were no port talks or informational lectures. The person who was supposed to do them, could not. They apparently don't have a plan "B". They started the lecture series and port talks after we got off the ship which didn't do us any good.

Cabin Review

When we walked into the room, an old coffee cup and open soda can were still in refrigerator. The room had not been vacuumed. Long black hairs were in drawers and on the bathroom sink and shower. Our steward was a male w/short hair. Dust and dirt was on the furniture. Only partial amenities were in bathroom. The balcony was filled with dirty, standing water that hadn't be swept off.

I took sani wipes from gym, called in steward and we started cleaning the room w/sani wipes while the steward vacuumed, cleaned out drawers and apologized profusely.

Port Reviews

Corfu

Do it on your own, much cheaper and less crowded.

Mykonos

Great town and area. Walk from ship and do it on your own.

Katakolon (Olympia)

Did it on our own. City bus to Olympia was 3 eu round trip. Museum was buy one, get one free - 15eu for 2. Very interesting area and cute town.

Rhodes

Do it on your own. Cheaper and faster and more interesting.

Santorini

a must do and see. Did it on our own. Took small boat, then bus to Oai. Great town. Then same bus to next town to discover on our own. Down the slope on a donkey.

Kotor

Stopped in Kotor 3 times on one cruisel. Very nice town and hike to top if hill, but one stop is enough.
