I thought the cruise line could do a better job of controlling the hours that we are in port.
We arrived in Bermuda mid afternoon on a Saturday and shops closed at 6:00pm so if you wanted to shop and do an excursion good luck in finding something that would fit the time frames available. We decided on an afternoon excursion ( The Rum Cruise which was excellent) and we were going to shop on Sunday before the ship left at 3:00pm. We did not know that you couldn't buy any of the fabulous rum that was pitched on the Rum Cruise on Sundays at the tax and duty free prices so we had to pay FULL PRICE which was almost double!!!
We arrived in Nassau at 1:00pm and were leaving at 11:59pm/Midnight. Again, if you wanted to do something that involved the beach/sun AND shop... Good Luck!!! Most excursions were 4-5 hours long and again the shops closed at 6:pm. And I wasn't going to eat in Nassua (and pay out of pocket) when our meals were already included in our cruise fee.
The cabin is starting to look a little worn. You can see where repairs have been done on the closet door and on the vanity area. We were on this ship a year ago and it looked much fresher then but of course these cabins get a lot of use in the course of a year. I hope the entire ship gets a re-do before we crusie again in a year and a half.
