This was our second cruise overall and second on the Elation. We traveled with our 3 year old and my parents for this particular trip. We arrived around noon to the port as our check in time was 12:30pm. There was a short line of cars but it didn't take but a few minutes. Bags were taken from the car and we parked.

Again, the line to get into the actual port to check in was as expected and it moved at a normal pace. The only issue we had with getting on the boat was my dad's birth certificate but after a slight delay they approved it and he was allowed to check in. I'd say our bags arrived to our room in less than an hour.

The entire staff on the ship is so friendly, helpful and nice. I can't say enough of how welcome they make you feel to be on their ship. That's one of the best things I like, and maybe it's the same on the other ships too, but they are all awesome.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

We had a cabin with an ocean view. The size of the rooms is more than satisfactory as we had two adults and a 3 year old old and I didn't feel crowded. We typically don't spend a lot of time in the room so the size was fine.

The decor is somewhat dated but I wasn't shocked or dismayed by anything.

Size of the bathroom is adequate and shower water was always hot and the pressure was good.

The cabin was cleaned twice daily and we had no issues with any of the staff.
