I do not have time for an organized review - but I do want to give Pearl Seas high ratings. Were things perfect - NO, but overall they were wonderful. The few issues were related to Cuban governmental procedures, changes, etc. Very minimal impact on the overall experience.
Cuban people were so very friendly and welcoming (not just those who wanted to sell you something or were expecting tips) but the average folks on the street. If you spoke Spanish, which I do not, almost anyone we saw on the streets were willing (and frequently very interested) in talking with us.
The shore guides I experienced on the ship provided tours were all terrific in their own ways. One always had to remember that there are "party lines" there and some would only give those types of responses. Others were more causal and would even make remarks making light of some of the issues others were 100% serious about.
