Majesty is a quaint lil ship… Main issue is with dance floors and not being easy to access with a wheelchair…. Centrum is definitely many stairs and no way…. Boleros, I had two guys carry me up & down the stairs several times a day (it’s where the best music was!)…. Every time I had to pee, it was another trip up & down…. It would be very easy to ramp that floor on one side, no excuses … Spectrum is very nice, level floor, but not many public events for it …. I did use Spectrum a couple times for the Crown & Anchor specials….
This is the only Viking Lounge that I recall without a dance floor at all !!!!! …. Wowser, disappointed in that… Again, easy to fix…. Take up carpet in the outer edges where it’s wider, lay wood or tile, and walla, you have it!
Windjammer service lacked… Not sure why dirty dishes are being left on tables, and no wiping of the previous diner…. I had to ask many times for the table to get a rag-cleaning before I could use it for my family.
114 square foot handicap room ... Shower is considered "roll-in", but there's a lip that a chair will NOT roll over, gets in the way .... My shoulder was against the sink, while keeping the caster wheel off the built-in stone lip.... Cabin holds two people... Closet large with lots of hangers, has lower bar too .... Additional cabinet in corner holds a lot of your personal items such as shoes... Big desk area.... Lighting is dim, yellow, hard to see over-all ... TV is tiny 19 inch, so if you have vision or hearing issues, you will not be able to use it.
Majesty is an old, small ship.... I expected this.... Yes, I would sail it again.... Entire experience overall was very good.... I tell this detailed stuff to help a person in a chair know what to expect....
Been to Nassau many times previously... They have a great diving excursion that rocks!
