This was a 'mother & daughter" get away. Just one day from Vancouver to Seattle then returning on the Quick Shuttle back to Vancouver.

Boarding took a long time but the problem was the US customs trying to clear a 'gazillion' people. Princess did their best. Once on the ship our stateroom was waiting for us, it was a surprise upgrade and we loved the mini suite. Just didn't get enough time in one day to really make it worth while. Food was good, staff was friendly and the entertainment was great too. We explored the ship from top to bottom tasting many a treat along the way. We didn't leave port until 8:30 pm due to the replacing of a couple of life rafts. The Emerald had just come in from Australia. The food in the buffet was well presented, plentiful and was good, not the weird and poorly presented food that had been served on the Ruby a couple of weeks prior when we'd been on there for 6 days. This ship seemed to have a fun vibe.

Cabin M1

loved it, clean and spacious with a bathtub and a separate seating area. Room steward was great.
