I took my very first cruise on Carnival Pride out of Baltimore to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport. I had a blast. I had a Ocean View room on the first floor 1212. I was surprised I expected a smaller room and a small bathroom. Being a plus size woman I fit perfectly in the shower. I had a large view of the Ocean. I had an awesome Steward who did anything we asked and got whatever was needed.

Food I ate so much yummy food from the Buffet style dining, pizza, Chinese, Mexican, Guys Burgers and of course the Dining room. I had the best servers in the dining room Alan, Alfredo and John were great! Needless to say I ate way too much food :)

The ship was easy to navigate once I figured it out after 2 days. It was over 2000 passengers but I never noticed it on the ship. Sometimes at meal times it got a bit busy but most of the time it was great.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Great room with a large Ocean view window. Shower was large enough for a plus size person. Bathroom had lots of shelves to put stuff on. Only 1 plug in the room and 1 plug in the bathroom for an electric razor.

Port Reviews

Freeport

About 20 shops around the pier area including Senor Frogs and Fat Tuesdays. I thought it would be a much smaller area to shop but it wasn't. Great for souvenirs

Half Moon Cay

Beautiful white sand beach with the clearest blue water. I hated having to leave.

Grand Turk

Did not take an excursion make sure to go to the larger beach. The smaller one was really rocky. Enjoyed the pool at Margaritaville.
