We were enticed by the fact that the cruise left out of Boston so we would save lots of money by not needing to pay airfare. We were a little concerned with it being hurricane season, but it seemed it would be the cheapest week long honeymoon away we could find and we had loved our first cruise!

Stateroom: It served it's purpose: a place to sleep and shower. However, we did feel it was smaller than expected. The new review of the Spirit on here says the rooms have coffee tables but ours did not and it would have been impossible to fit one in. The bathroom was tiny(shaving my legs was an interesting task). Our room was always kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. We only got towel animals 3 times but I was later told by a friend that this may be because on a couple days we hung our towels back up(an indication that we didn't need new ones)

The ship was nice but seemed smaller than our previous ship which technically is similar in size. Maybe this is due to it feeling so crowed at times. There was ony one regular pool on deck and it was typically crowded. There was a separate kids area with water slides which looked fun, but many kids still chose the main pool. There were 4 hot tubs surrounding the main pool, but again these were most often crowded with kids. The only time we were able to relax in the hottub was during our last night when everyone else seemed to forget that mid-70s is good weather back home :)

5016: Tiny room with picture window. Cramped for 2 people; can't image how they fit 4 into a room like that. Limited space for clothes. Quiet. Few door down from elevator. Close to front so felt the boat moving.
