We chose this cruise because it was the Oasis, out of Port Canaveral and the price was right for a balcony room. Easy on and off. Our room was available when we arrived on the ship around noon and we carried our own luggage off which made it very quick and easy. Had a ocean balcony room which is a must if you are able. Room size was adequate for 2 and the bed comfortable. We slept well every night on Deck 11. We liked our location on the front of the ship close to elevators. Easy up or down as needed. The ship is large and I rarely felt crowded with the exception of the casino. There are lots of entertainment, dining and shopping options. The main dining room service was good and the dinners were enjoyable. The selection was varied. Breakfast service in the dining room was not as good. The service was not great and the servers seemed to have an attitude and basically had a hard time providing what was requested. We ate in the dining room 3 times for breakfast, once had the buffet which was standard but good. We saw the headliner (Elvis) and the Come Fly with Me show, both were ok but nothing to rave about, although the tumbling and acrobats were good, singing..not so much. We also saw the Aqua show and although we had reservations it conflicted a bit with dinner and we were unable to get a decent seat. That show was a bit corny for us but the diving is cool. The late night comedians were very funny. We didn't use any shore excursions. We rented a car in .St. Maarten which gave us a chance to explore and dine locally .San Juan is was crowded and hot, I would have like to have had some more time in this port however. Labadee is a beautiful island but the rocks in much of the swimming area are annoying, Water shoes are highly recommended. It's rough to get into the water. We did not buy the drink package but we did buy drinks and although pricey, mixed drinks were good and the wine and beer selection decent. . We recommend the Globe and Atlas for a before dinner cocktail. We ate a Chop's Grille for lunch, the food was ok but the champagne served to me was flat. Although the server confirmed I would like my salad with my steak I had to ask about it once the steak was served and a some time went buy and the server seemed to have a bit of attitude about it. There were several instances like this where they had a hard time meeting the request. We ordered room service, wings and cheese steak. They called to confirm the mild buffalo wing order but delivered heavily sauced BBQ wings with too much red pepper flakes..an obvious attempt at substitution, inedible. They charged $2.50 for terrible and small amount of popcorn in the theater...really shameful. There were many little instances of sub par service and I would give service a B on this cruise. The ship itself gets an A.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Cabin was good, shower doors in lieu of curtain was very nice. Sink a little tiny and drained slowly. The lid of the TP holder seems like a haven for germs. The bed was comfortable. I wish the frig was cold. Balcony is a must if you can afford it.
