We went on the Liberty when it sailed on Aug 29th as our second cruise (both with Carnival). We had a great time. I'll start with our stay at Viceroy Miami for two nights before the cruise. The room was very upscale, not crowded and clean. The pool area on the 15th floor was amazing, and we enjoyed Valet parking both days.

We arrived a bit late to the port of Miami after dropping off our rental car in North Miami Beach. Surprisingly the wait wasn't that much about 30-45 minutes to get on the ship. We went straight to the lunch buffet to catch a bit to eat. Once we were done, we headed to our stateroom to check it out. We were content with the oceanview room, even though the balcony room is nicer. Very clean and pretty much what we expected. We did notice many people leaving their plates and trays outside of their room in the hall, which we didn't seem to notice on the Upper Deck on our first cruise. I wish they had flat screen TVs in the room too.

The ship was pretty much the same as the Glory we sailed on last year, but the decoration is different of course. The Venetian Palace was decorated wonderfully, and hosted Bingo, raffles, night shows, important talks, and VIP meetings.
