This was our first cruise and we chose it for the itinerary it covered and also the short duration. This cruise is not bad value for the money you have paid especially if you have the free drinks package included. The food choice is good in the Orion restaurant but the Lido is very fast food based. The Entertainment is mediocre and holiday campish. The swimming pools are average size but they are not very clean and although it was forbidden children in nappies were in the pool. service in the restaurant is slow and its frowned upon not to want to sit with other passengers. The tours are value for money and informative if not a little rushed at time. Quality of breakfast in the Orion restaurant is a bit hit and miss with quality tip for travellers dont have the kippers. We did opt for the extra priced steaks one night and they were very good. The gala night dinner is a bit if a farce they sit you in the Broadway lounge for 3/4 hour with a glass of sparkly wine and some if the head crew talk as well as the captain. The dinner after I have to say was the worse food ever. Maybe as we ooted for the second sitting the food had been on warmers for too long. I would not go on another Thomson cruise again
