Legend is showing its age. Rust and wear showing. The ports and excursions were great, Alaska is truly a destination to cruise to. We did enjoy our meals most of the time, the dining room food was very good with a good selection each night. Breakfast was good all over the ship. Lunch time brings people to the Lido to eat, then remain at the tables so be prepared to east out on the Serenity deck, which isn't bad. Embarkation sends everyone to the Lido where it is an absolute zoo. You would be better off to eat before getting on board, then go to a lounge for a drink while waiting for your room. Faster to the fun is a great idea if you want in your room at boarding time. Other than that, it wasn't that useful. The excursion staff needs to get better organized as they have you meet in the showroom and then take you off the ship in an unorganized manner and cut you loose at the bottom the ramp to find your own way. We would do Carnival again, but to different ports next time.

Cabin 8A

If we weren't so pooped out at night the noise from the Lido deck would have really be a pain. Seems the crew cleaning and moving stuff are louder than when guests are in there eating. Nice cabin, everything worked well, beds comfortable.
