This cruise for us and several passengers we spoke with was below average. Boarding was reasonably smooth but disembarkation was chaotic and very uncomfortable for older customers and families with small children.

Having cruised with Carnival on many occasions this was by far the worst value for money. The cut backs by Carnival are very noticeable, once a day cabin service, no turn down service with pillow chocolates, no table cloths on dining tables other than formal night and a drop in food quality. Plenty of food offered but quality boardering on poor on several occasions. We shared a dining table with two other lovely couples and spent occasions in floods of laughter where an item of food was so strange looking and poor tasting the only thing we could do was to laugh! Melting chocolate pudding so hard it bent the spoon, a stuffed baked apple that was so bad tasting our fellow diner nearly choked! Under cooked baked potatoes on more than one occasion, lobster so rubbery it was un inedible, just a few to mention!

Room service for our breakfast was a challenge, on the five occasions we ordered it was incomplete. Missing bowls for cereal on one occasion, no cutlery on another, no butter on another and no coffee on another, no fruit on another. In total not one morning was correct, every day something was missing!
