Been lucky enough to have been on a few cruises mainly with Royal Caribbean and a once only (regrettable) on P&O and on every ship we've been on people have advised us to try the Eclipse so we've been waiting for this From the very start everything was superb boarding was quick and easy due to allotted time slots On boarding the ship is very clean very glamorous and the staff are super friendly everything is geared for a relaxing sophisticated experience the coffee shop on board(el bacio) is always busy very popular with gorgeous cakes and hi end Starbucks /costa coffee on offer needs expanding as on sea days places to sit are few and far between Sky lounge is a superb place to sit and unwind and if lucky enough catch the sun Can't fault the ship she's fantastic and will definitely sail with Celebrity again Finally disembarking was a joy compared to past experiences again allocated time slots ensured quick easy and stress free match up with our luggage (one tip ) they provide numerous luggage tags put at least two on each bag as one fell off and this is common as they have an area for bags that tags have fallen off completely making harder to reunite luggage with owners

Been lucky enough to have been on a few cruises mainly with Royal Caribbean and a once only (regrettable) on P&O and on every ship we've been on people have advised us to try the Eclipse so we've been waiting for this

From the very start everything was superb boarding was quick and easy due to allotted time slots

On boarding the ship is very clean very glamorous and the staff are super friendly

everything is geared for a relaxing sophisticated experience the coffee shop on board(el bacio) is always busy very popular with gorgeous cakes and hi end Starbucks /costa coffee on offer needs expanding as on sea days places to sit are few and far between

Sky lounge is a superb place to sit and unwind and if lucky enough catch the sun

Can't fault the ship she's fantastic and will definitely sail with Celebrity again

Finally disembarking was a joy compared to past experiences again allocated time slots ensured quick easy and stress free match up with our luggage (one tip ) they provide numerous luggage tags put at least two on each bag as one fell off and this is common as they have an area for bags that tags have fallen off completely making harder to reunite luggage with owners

shore excursions booked through ship are quite expensive so we did our own thing researched each port and found things that appealed to us
We walked up Mount Floyen easy to find and enjoyable mildly strenuous with great views on way up/down ( don't miss trolls trail ) on top lots of carved wooden painted trolls various sizes

Got tickets online prior to sailing easy to do just board train and enjoy with luxury of not paying over odds for same trip as ship ( although they get off 1 stop before end station for waffles ) but you save massively for not doing so

Best port by far stunningly beautiful
We walked up trail to waterfall centre past most amazing waterfall then we hiked up mountainside to top of waterfall ( a very exerting climb) it's so high there's a foot of snow at its summit to make our way down the narrow steps to stand behind the waterfall well worth all the effort

    Slight grumble hear
You have to be on top deck to get best views and therefore best experience from your trip seats are limited on top so get there early and queue
No one knew where to meet and no sign of any crew member just followed crowd
We got on top felt sorry for those who didn't and those who stood for three hours as it was quite expensive
However trip itself was great scenery amazing
