Been lucky enough to have been on a few cruises mainly with Royal Caribbean and a once only (regrettable) on P&O and on every ship we've been on people have advised us to try the Eclipse so we've been waiting for this

From the very start everything was superb boarding was quick and easy due to allotted time slots

On boarding the ship is very clean very glamorous and the staff are super friendly

Port Reviews

Geiranger

Best port by far stunningly beautiful

We walked up trail to waterfall centre past most amazing waterfall then we hiked up mountainside to top of waterfall ( a very exerting climb) it's so high there's a foot of snow at its summit to make our way down the narrow steps to stand behind the waterfall well worth all the effort

Bergen

shore excursions booked through ship are quite expensive so we did our own thing researched each port and found things that appealed to us

We walked up Mount Floyen easy to find and enjoyable mildly strenuous with great views on way up/down ( don't miss trolls trail ) on top lots of carved wooden painted trolls various sizes

Alesund

Made our own way to observatory

What a climb steps are fantastic easy but very very steep in places nice view from top tho
