We chose it for the length and price point. We wanted a short cruise, and this one fit the bill. The rooms were basic, and old looking. The thing that bothered me, the hallways all the carpets seemed like they had all been flooded with water and dried. They all had huge stains on them. There was also an odor of raw sewage in our hallway. The comedy show was good. The other shows were much like a show you would see an Kings Island or Six Flags. The pool area was nice. The food in the Windjammer café was better than the sit down meals, and all 6 of us agreed with that. We skipped the formal night, because the food was that bad. My friends that were with me that had cruised with Carnival before, enjoyed it much more for about the same money. The spa was very nice! They had a guy that could rock your hair out, and a nail girl that did a fabulous job. Not a totally bad experience, just expected more. The cruise was 1596.00 for 3 of us, so I guess you get what you pay for.
The cabin was very basic. The thing that bothered me, all the carpets in the hallways looked as if they were stained. The cabin was hot as hell. We complained and finally had a small fan delivered to our room.
