We chose this trip because we had never been to the Greek Islands and Athens (Pompeii was a bonus); we were glad we did. We spent three days in Rome prior to sailing; Boarding was the most efficient of any of our previous cruises (10). The ship, although somewhat old, is clean, food in dining room was great, tours were interesting. We were fortunate with the weather - temperatures in the high 60's to low 70's, sunny every day, little rocking. Wifi on board is fast; however, you can save some money by going to just about any cafe in any port and you will have free Wifi. Some reviews criticized the noise from the casino in cabins directly over the casino (Casino is on Deck 6); Our cabin was on deck 7, over the casino, and we had no problems.

Negatives: Food in the Windjammer was nothing special for lunch and supper; (breakfast was fine). The shows (with one exception) were not very good. Messina was a disappointment; our tour in that city was cancelled shortly before sailing; by the time the tour was cancelled, most other interesting tours were no longer available.
