3rd time on the Nav. always had a very good time. This time it was poor. Food standard in the main dining room was well below previous visits.Used the 8.30pm dinner slot. Took 20/25 mins to get a glass of wine( wine waiters removed) starter received 9.05pm. main at 9.40pm, sweet at 1005pm on average each night.Waiters inexperienced. Sent main course back on 3 nights as cold/ uncooked. Ate in the Windjammer on 3 nights. Had a drinks package but service mostly very slow especially at peak times. not enough staff. Best bar on deck 14 turned over to the Diamond club members every night from 5pm to 8.30pm. No pre-dinner cocktails for the underclasses!. 5-6 quizzes every day, over done and old hat. Only two good shows, Beatles group and Queen tribute. Time of some port visits well short and poor itinerary timings. (Valencia had a Marathon on visit day,1 hr minimum to get into the city.!! Informed of this only on the night before docking.!! Lots of people had booked trips, so had to go or loose payments. Cabins ok but tired , hard bed. Cabin staff good but over worked. Very obvious reduction in staff ( except officers) all looked miserable and unhappy. Diamond club members catered for to the detriment of all other guests. Overrated extra high cost ,( not fine dining) venues with staff touting for custom early morning to late at night. Very annoying along with the Spa brigade.!! The overall experience is that Royal C. is using its guests as a cash cow with reduced staff and greatly reduced standards. Never Again.
