The Majestic Princess was beautiful. It was so shiny and new and smelled like a new car. We loved the décor and the newness of the ship. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. There were plenty of elevators and the staff was wonderful. The cruise was quieter that most that I have been on perhaps because there was such a mix of people. Many Chinese and many Australians. There was very little sales push for the stores on board which was a pleasant change. The food in the main dining room was better than ever. The food in the buffet was very good, too. The Chinese Restaurant on board was not to American tastes. It was truly a Chinese Restaurant. Alfredo's was great and being free is always a benefit. This is not a cruise ship that young people would necessarily enjoy as there were few young people on board and not many activities that they would have been crazy about. The entertainment was not good. The strobe lights were shocking and the entertainers not good - except for the three tenors. The excursions were awful. Don't bother. The ports are small and easy to walk around. The itinerary was the reason that we took this ship and it proved to be a bit overwhelming. So many ports in so many days.

Our Cabin was large with lots of storage. It had a beautiful bathtub and plenty of room for storage. Mark our cabin attendant was excellent. The balcony was roomy. The room had two TV's and a curtain that could divide the room. It would be a great room for a family with children. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was shiny and new.
