We liked the itinerary. We knew it was early in the season and would be chilly but that worked out ok, our oceanview cabin was small but adequate. Biggest issue was the uneven water flow of the shower, it went from ice cold to scalding. We took very quick showers. The internet was just horrible. I know we are on vacation but most of us can't disconnect for two weeks and need to keep in touch, it was awful, worse than most. Royal has implemented the high speed internet and charges a flat daily rate. They got it right and since princess is upgrading their technology, to ignore internet speed is a mistake. The shows were top shelf, the on board activities were so so. Great staff but selection of choices or activities could be vastly improved. The food was typical, not better or worse than other ships. We did go to the steakhouse and it was just ok. The service on the lido deck was by far the best we have ever experienced. In the dining room it was as expected.

Overall, this trip was about the excursions. I would not go out of my way to sail Princess again however, We would would not hesitate to book them if it worked out with our schedule.
