We chose the Jewel of the Seas after speaking with friends who cruise regularly and we were not disappointed. A few weeks before we sailed I decided to look at some reviews on here and was surprised that a lot of people were not happy with the boat or the service they received, we did not find this to be true.

Embarkation was very smooth even though we did queue up for a short while, once on board we headed for the Centrum bar where we were greeted by a lovely barman who supplied us with our drinks, we then chose to explore the ship and soon found our way around.

The ship has numerous bars scattered around and plenty of quiet areas as well if you just wanted to chill out. The main dining area is immaculate as is the Windjammer Café where we had breakfast and lunch on most occasions. The theatre is large and they have very good shows going on during the cruise all directed by the lovely Crusin' Susan. The Casino was always busy as were the shops when they were open, regular quizzes were held in the Safari lounge and musical entertainment was ongoing throughout the day and night in the Centrum, Pool area & Safari club.

Very Clean, big enough for the 3 of us and done it's job!

Very quiet at night and a convenient central location.
