This was our 1st cruise with NCL, the actual cruise and destinations were superb , however the actual ship had its problems.

Our room was on deck 11, 11629, directly underneath Raffles buffet, there was some noise during the day as you would expect, this continued right through the night even though the restaurant was closed. It sounded like a hot water boiler had been left on, coming up to temperature and switching on and off all night. We did complain but there were no suitable bedrooms available, to move us to, so had to put up with it. They must have received complaints before because we like a drink at night and still woke us up.

Our only other gripe was the poor quality of entertainment apart from 3 production shows over a 2 week cruise and an illusion show. The rest were sub standard, esp a so called circus, which featured two amateur artists and hula hoops. The band Prism in the Galaxy of the stars room sounded jaded, like they were due a rest, you could hardly here the vocals at times. Well below the show quality of other lines.
